7747 Daytime Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield Kit
Add the benefits of fan aspiration by retrofitting to your wireless or cabled Vantage Pro2 or Pro2 Plus. Less costly than the 24-Hour Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield (#6838), but nearly 75% as effective in reducing the effects of daytime radiation. Solar-powered fan runs during the day. Since there is no backup battery, the fan will cease running when night falls and the effects of radiation are less.
Kit includes fan, double solar panel door (which replaces the standard SIM box door), additional radiation shield plates, and hardware.
Not compatible with original Vantage Pro.

Please note, not every application needs a Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield. They are most useful when wind speeds are low and skies are clear. It is important to note that critical maintenance is required at least monthly on the fan and associated screens to ensure continued functionality.
